Meet Our Executive Director
Hello! My name is Beth Vicari and I have been Director of The Village Children’s Academy since 1997! I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree and an Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License in Elementary Education. I have spent most of my career as an administrator of early childhood educational programs.
In addition to the administration of VCA, I have served as an ISBE school administrator of Preschool For All Programs for the past 16 years. I live in DuPage County with my husband and three sons. I spend a lot of time supporting Little League Baseball, Boy Scouts, and Church in my community. My interests include traveling, gardening, and reading.

Meet our Center Director
My name is Jovanna Uebele, and my journey with The Village Children’s Academy began in 2002. I joined VCA as a part-time assistant teacher while attending college. After earning my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Benedictine University, I continued at VCA as a full-time lead teacher. I then transitioned into administration as the Assistant Director, a role I proudly held for the past 10 years. I am excited to continue my VCA journey as Center Director.
Throughout my years at VCA, I have had the privilege of watching children grow, building lasting relationships with families, and working alongside an incredible team of educators. Having grown up in Hinsdale, I feel especially connected to the community and am proud to continue serving the families and children of the community I have always called home. Outside of VCA, I enjoy spending time outdoors, going for walks, caring for my ever-growing collection of houseplants, and exploring my creative side. I also enjoy baking for the holidays, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying a good glass of wine.
